The short version: Tend Daily is a reminder app that offers general gardening guidance. It is not professional advice, your garden decisions are yours, and for anything you apply to a plant the product label is the instruction that counts.
General guidance, not professional advice
Tend Daily suggests watering schedules and seasonal care based on broad categories, regions and seasons. Plants, soils, microclimates and weather vary enormously, and no schedule fits every garden. Nothing in the app is horticultural, agronomic or professional advice for your specific plants, and the app has no knowledge of your garden beyond what you enter. Every decision about watering, feeding, treating or pruning your plants is yours to make.
Product labels come first
Where the app mentions kinds of products, or names example brands, that is descriptive information only. For any fertilizer, herbicide, pesticide or other product you use, the manufacturer's label is the legally binding instruction under United States law. Read the label, confirm the product suits your plants and your situation, and follow it. If the label and the app ever appear to disagree, the label wins.
No warranty
The app is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that reminders will always be delivered, that guidance suits your specific plants, or that the app will be uninterrupted or error free.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the developer of Tend Daily shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or exemplary damages, or for any loss of or damage to plants, lawns, gardens or other property, arising out of or in connection with the use of, or inability to use, the app, whether based on warranty, contract, tort or any other legal theory. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid for the app.

Product and brand names are the property of their respective owners and are used only to identify products. Tend Daily is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by any brand shown, unless a listing is expressly marked as sponsored inside the app.

These terms may be updated from time to time. The current version is always at this address, with the date above.
